Thanks to everyone who sent regards. I am doing better with this being my third night in the hospital. Knee surgery is Monday and my collapsed lung is almost fully operational. The pain..well that's always there. Thank you morphine and norcos. Jaws of life had to be used to get my buddy out of the passenger seat. 15 year old german car that protected us like a tank.

Feel better man, I just had surgery, getting off the norcos was a little depressing, that stuff is nothing to mess with!

Glad your going to be okay. When I was very little, my dad got t-boned in his Audi 100 by a woman who ran a red light at 40 mph. He had very few injuries, which the firefighters said was 20% luck, and 80% the strong German car.

I had the right of way and they were pulling out of a neighbourhood. At first they pulled out a little and stopped so I stared to angle the car left more and it decided to keep pulling out. I had one chance to anywhere else but right into the driver side door.

Wanted to keep my front Hungarian plate but it disappeared. So I'm just going to let it go. It's not worth parts at al. Every Inch has damage. I might try to remove the coil overs

My Neon met its tragic end through a very similar situation. I was lucky to walk away and go home and sleep in my own bed afterwards, but I wish you a speedy recovery. Sucks to hear about, but you're in good hands and being taken care of, so thats the important part.

Damn, that sucks. Glad you are okay, enjoy the recuperation time. Hopefully you have someone willing to take care of you while your laid up. Be careful with the pain meds they are no joke.
